The Man Who Cheated Death 7 Times: The True Story of Frane Selak

This is a story about the luckiest, unluckiest man to ever live. For Frano Selak it all started in 1962 when a train he was a passenger on derailed and slid into an Icy river killing 17, but luckily for Frank he survived.

A year later he was on a plane for the first time when the door of the plain opened, sucking Frano out of the plain and landing on a haystack while the plane crashed killing all 19 on board.

Three years later he was on a bus that skidded off the road into a river killing 4 passengers, while he swam to safety. In 1970 his car caught fire and he jumped out just in time to watch it blow up. In 1973 his new car fuel pipe broke causing fire to shoot out of the vents.

In 1995 he survived getting hit by a bus. And only a year later his car hit a guardrail and fell off a mountain dropping 300 ft down, but manage to jump out the car window and clung to a tree.

After surviving all that, at the age of 73 he won the lottery, winning 900,000 Euro (US$1,110,000) only to give it away so he could live a frugal but happy life with his wife.
